"The Phoenix Agenda" Goes into Production

Northbound Studios has chosen its principal cst and crew for their upcoming espionage thriller, The Phoenix Agenda. Filmmaker Deric Olsen has been chosen to direct the film from a screenplay that is the result of a two year internet collaboration between the filmmaker and Scottish screenwriter and novelist Derek Paterson.

The Phoenix Agenda explores a Canadian setting and centers around counter-terrorism agent Ryan Burke (Ray Dunnison), who has apprehended The Phoenix (Yi Dai), a notorious hacker. The Phoenix was double-crossed by Akkayan (Munish Sharma) who used him to steal a substance of unimaginable toxicity. American agents want the Phoenix for extradition for charges in the US, but Ryan petitions for more time to use The Phoenix to flush out Akkayan.
