Cast Announced for Canadian Indepedent Film THE PHOENIX AGENDA

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Alberta – July 4, 2005 – Northbound Studios is pleased to announce the principal cast and crew of the espionage thriller THE PHOENIX AGENDA. Ray Dunnison has been cast in the lead role of Ryan Burke, the seasoned team leader of an International Intelligence and Counter-terrorist Agency caught in a web of intrigue and deception tied to the threat of a biological attack on central North America.

Dunnison, a professional still photographer by trade, has been moving in front of the lens as of late landing starring roles such as his turn in the sci-fi feature ORPHANS OF THE SAND, due out this year. Rounding out the cast are Yi Dai as Diem Ho, Munish Sharma as Akkayan, Allison Tymiak as Nathalie Breget and Katherine Chambers as Dominique Nivara with newcomer Adam Tondevold as the consummate professional hitman Taran Miner.

THE PHOENIX AGENDA will be directed by Deric Olsen of Northbound Studios. He has shot an array of academic and corporate videos, and is an accomplished Director, having helmed several short films including the award winning short film THE HAVEN. Olsen has served as the Graphic Designer on the feature film ORPHANS OF THE SAND and as the Publicity Director on OBLIVION, and is currently engaged as a DVD Designer on the indie action feature RECON 2020. His productions have screened at local, national and some international venues as well.

The production will be photographed on 1080i HD with Mike Zimmer serving as the Director of Photography. Principal photography will begin in Regina, SK on July 11th and will wrap in Southern Alberta in early August.
